On MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15TH, 2021- Kitui Deputy Governor Dr Wathe Held a meeting with The Kenya Tsetse and Trypanosomiasis Eradication Council (KENTTEC) after he jetted back in the country where he was in Greece for one full week summit.
“with support of the Regional Veterinary Investigation Laboratory (RVIL)- Karatina in collaboration with Kitui County Government”
The council will undertake a monitoring exercise for Entomological/ Tsetse flies and Epidemiological/ African Animal Trypanosomiasis (AAT) at Kanziko and Mutha Wards in Kitui South Sub County from 23rd to 26th November, 2021.
This was revealed by the KENTTEC Regional Coordinator for Meru/Meru Region Madam Virginia W. Kinyanjui in the company of Acting Manager, Research and Innovation, Mr. Isaiah N.Kiteto when they paid a courtesy call to Kitui Deputy Governor Dr. Wathe Nzau in his office today.
The team lauded Dr Wathe Nzau, for his leadership and contributions he offered to Kenya Tsetse and Trypanosomiasis Eradication Council (KENTTEC) when he was the Chairman Board of Directors.
Also, they shared with the Deputy Governor the 2018-2022 KENTTEC Strategic plan and other Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials.
