On Tuesday, September 2020 – The Deputy President William Ruto visited the Jubilee Party headquarters in Nairobi’s Pangani area for the first time since April when his allies were de-whipped by the party.
During the unplanned visit, the DP who was accompanied by Langata MP Nixon Korir declined to divulge much, maintaining that the visit was a Jubilee party affair.
The DP took to his Twitter handle to assure Kenyans that the ruling party was ready to serve Kenyans having been formed on a people-driven ideology.
Tuju confirmed on Citizen TV that there was a party meeting to be chaired by DP last week.
Due to DP schedule the meeting did not take place and the two spoke and Tuju said he was in hospital but that he would attend the meeting
DP kept his part of the bargain, SG Hon Tuju, who officials said was in the office earlier meeting a Chinese Delegation – was absent.
When DP got to Jubilee Headquarters as agreed, he called the SG and someone else picked and said Tuju had gone to see a Doctor
The Party logistical preparations ahead of the FIVE by-elections set for December 15 was discussed today.
DP Ruto then had a chat with different officials and Chefs at the staff cafeteria on life, engagements, challenges and listened to their views on different issues.
