On Monday 26th October 2020 – The Deputy President Dr William Ruto was among those who attended BBI Report launch at the Bomas of Kenya.
Speaking in a charged Bomas, Ruto said: “The BBI framework gives us a moment to have a proper conversation that is centred on issues affecting the ordinary populace”.
We, therefore, have a civic duty to engage in the process by interrogating and making progressive proposals.
We do not have the luxury of “I do not care” or walking away from this historic moment.
He added.At some point, the Dp Ruto was heckled by Controversial Mbita Mp Millie Odhiambo who is an ally of Raila Odinga.
Despite heckling from ODM Legislators the Incident did not deter The son of Sugoi from delivering his valid and strong points that left majority of the delegates thinking deep.
When the president Kenyatta arose to speak he cooled the temperature and he was seen exchanging pleasantries with his deputy president.
