On Wednesday, 20th January, 2021 – The diplomatic Kitui Deputy Governor Dr Wathe Nzau Kitui County led masses in mourning the late Mzee Mwangangi, the COUNTY DIARY reports.
In Message of condolence shared to news rooms, Dr Wathe said, “It is with great grief to learn of the death of Mzee Mwangangi Mulatya (Ukongo) of Ukasi location in Nguni Ward, Mwingi Central Sub County, which occurred on 16th January 2021.
Mzee Mwangangi will be remembered as a staunch pillar who was dependable in Mwingi Central politics.
On my behalf, my family and the people of Kitui County, I convey my condolences to the family, Church, Friends and the entire community of Nguni Ward, during this difficult time of mourning.
I also pass my condolences to his daughter Rachael Mwangangi who is an Assistant Director at the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources in the County Government of Kitui.
May Almighty God give the family and relatives strength and fortitude to bear the loss.
