Former powerful Interior Minister Fred Matiangi has been summoned by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
Matiangi is required to report to Mazingira House offices no later than 9.30 a.m. on Tuesday, part of the statement read.
According to a summons issued by Micheal K.Sang, a senior superintendent of police attached to the DCI, the former CS is being sought in connection with an investigation into the publication of false information about an alleged raid at his home last month.
“i have reasons to believe that you are connected or have information that can assist me in my investigations,” the notice served to Matiangi’s lawyer, Danstan Omari reads.
