Kitui Executive Member in charge of basic education and trainings Mr David Kivoto is a worried man, the COUNTY DIARY has learnt.
Speaking during a recent Press conference, the minister confirmed that there are fraudsters who have impersonated him through a fake Facebook account as County Minister Mr David Musyoki Kivoto .
The duo has been conning unsuspecting individuals through Facebook.
The impersonators usually write that the Ministry is offering jobs for the youth and women, through the fake Facebook account while conning people.
“I am suspecting two people and the police detectives are on their trail to unravel the mystery and bring them to book” said Kivoto.
The minister added that he was shocked to realise that there are online fraudsters who are conning people using his name.
Addressing Media at his office in kitui, The minister revealed that he has reported the matter with police and detectives are pursuing the criminals
The Security guy who did not want his name disclosed confirmed that the case has been reported to them and for some time now they have been following phone communication of one WhatsApp User who masquerades as a blogger from mwingi
