On Saturday, 6th June, The President of the Republic of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta announced that the Nationwide dusk to dawn curfew will be extended by 30 days, but from 9 pm to 4 am as a precautionary measure to control further spread of COVID-19,

The President was making his 8th Presidential address to the nation on COVID 19 precautions measures that his government has done.

Cessation of Movement from Nairobi, Mombasa and Mandera has been extended by 30 days.

Dusk to Dawn curfew moved to 9 pm to 4 am effective from 7th for the next thirty days.

Ban on all public gatherings extended by 30 days.
