In The COUNTY PROFILES today we are featuring the popular Kibwezi East Women leader Janet Kioko.
Janet, popularly known as Cheupe, has escalated her development activism work in defence of the boy child, orphaned pupils and students welfare.
But it is her prolific work on women groups mobilisation and leadership mien especially on work involving women groups, merry go-rounds and trainings that is earning her the profound recognition in Kibwezi politics and leadership circles.
As a women leader Kibwezi in charge of several women groups, she has this to say;
My work involves counseling and defending victims of rape especially children. I also defend and advise divorced women or women who get chased out of their matrimonial homes by alcoholic husbands.
Janet Kioko is also involved in Community policing and she is a ranking Official of Kambu Business Community and the Nyumba Kumi whose work in community policimg has ensured security in her jurisdiction.
I am also a strong Wiper diehard and I have been counselling the youth and families on the verge of collapsing for as long as I can remember.
