  1. Grace Kibatha Mukami 32, has been nominated for the Laikipia Business Awards 2020.

  1. She is the best Youth nominee in Business, courtesy of Kenya National Chambers of Commerce and Industry(KNCCI)-Laikipia Chapter.

  2. Her current Start Up is dealing in Natural Value Added Foods which is popular with the working class in NANYUKI town.

  3. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from University of Nairobi.

  4. She is currently working on her MBA Project (Project Management specialization)

  5. Her career spanning 4 years working in Youth Development Programs
    gives her teeth leverage and experience in Youth Mentorship.

  6. She is an experienced expert in Youth Empowerment programs having trained numerous youths on business skills, startup management, financial literacy lifeskills, establishing partnerships among others and mentored them.

  7. Her first start up business she established in 2015 was a milk bar which failed. However,she gained alot of experience in running a business from there.

  8. Her current business – Awabatha Power Uji (the current business) is coined from her dad’s name since her dad is very keen on healthy lifestyle.

  9. Grace loves healthy eating and healthy lifestyle.That’s what motivated her to start a healthy eating outlet

11.Working out is one of Grace hobby.

  1. Her wish and hope is to see young people embracing self employment especially now job creation is very minimal.

  2. Her future plans include establishing a youth centre whereby young people can be trained on digital literacy, lifeskills, business trainings, link them up with mentors, e. t. c and mentor them.

  3. Grace is an ambitious, go-getter.
