CIVIL SERVANTS HOUSING PROJECT IN MACHAKOS GETS PEOPLE TALKING

The Government is committed to facilitate access to adequate and decent housing and prepare urban plans for sustainable development. Wavinya ndeti has said.

The project which is in line with the Government’s Big Four Agenda will go a long way in providing adequate and decent housing for civil servants and also create employment.

The project comprises several flats with 100 two-bedroomed units and an equal number of three-bedroomed units.

Allocation of houses to qualified applicants will start as soon as the Construction of the affordable houses is Commissioned. The allocation process for the available houses will be done in a regular, fair and transparent system free of any human intervention and contact.

The state department of housing will determine the number to be reserved for civil servants for sale and the rest to be allocated to the public for rent.

I urge Kenyans to embrace and register with the online Boma Yangu housing project, Ms ndeti added.
