Former Kitui Mayor Hon Alex Mwendwa Munyoki has been elected as the Chairman Kitui County Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The election was overseen by the director Mr. Fernandes Mbindu from the Ministry of Trade and Cooperative and officials from the National Office.
The CECM For Trade, Industry, MSMEs, Innovation & Cooperatives was well represented during Elections for Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KNCCI), Kitui Chapter.
The elections were peaceful and well-attended. A new board was elected, comprising Chairperson, Vice Chairperson and 9 Board Directors.
“They committed to spur trade activities in the County in close liaison with the Ministry of Trade, Industry, MSMES, Innovation and Cooperatives through the office of the County Minister for Trade”
The function was conducted at Kitui Multipurpose present as Director for Trade Mr.Fidhelis Mwaniki and Director for Industry and Investments Mr.Fernandes Mbindu Muli .
Mwendwa is the former MCA for the Mulango ward.
