Legislators allied to embattled Deputy President Dr William Ruto are urging the Head of State to discontinue and halt the controversial Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) popularisation rallies.
They have termed the initiative as a ‘project that will eventually divide the country and a recipe for chaos’
Led by Controversial Uasin Gishu Woman Representative Hon Shollei the coterie of MPs pleaded with President Uhuru Kenyatta to call off BBI report engagement forthwith.
Hon. Gladys Wanga claimed that the report has been hijacked by selfish politicians who are pursuing personal political gains while working towards settling political scores and vendettas.
‘The report has been politicised and is likely to divide Kenyans instead of bringing about cohesion and unity that was envisioned by the BBI roadmap” she added.
