Cabinet set to approve payment of Sh200,000 gratuity to each of the former councillors

The Kenya Kwanza Government is set to remember former councilors who are currently struggling with life after being dubbed by voters.

This send-off package to 12,000 former councillors who exited in 2013 will cost a total Sh2.6 billion.

The funds will be a great boost for former Councilors who served devolution.
