Distinguished High Court advocate Hon. Benjamin Mwikya Musyoki has been shortlisted to run for the office of kitui county assembly speaker, the county diary report.
Benjamin Holds a Masters’s Degree in Law (LLM) in Democracy and Governance from The University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of law (LLB) at UoN.
He has been an Advocate of The High Court of Kenya since December 1998 and Commissioner for Oaths. He is the proprietor of the firm B.M Musyoki & Co Advocates which he established in 2002, four years after working for another firm.
A member of the Law Society of Kenya, East Africa Law Society, and Africa Bar Association headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.
He is also an accomplished Arbitrator and mediator. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators with headquarters in London.

BM Musyoki is a son of Kitui from Kitui West Subcounty.
Education and Career:
He schooled at Kathiani Primary School in Kitui West and attended St. Charles Lwanga School Kitui for Secondary studies.

Joined University in 1993 and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree at the University of Nairobi in 1997 after which he went for Post Graduate Diploma studies at the Kenya School of Law for one year. Pursued Masters Degree in Law (LLM) in Democracy and Governance at UoN and graduated in 2016.
Professional Experience & Responsibilities:
Hon. Musyoki is an Advocate of The High Court of Kenya and proprietor of B.M. Musyoki & Co Advocates with an undisputable vast working experience.
He was a Member of the Standards Tribunal between 2009 and 2015 where he served and chaired the Rules Committee. In this Tribunal, he acted as the Chairman for one year.
Musyoki has been a Board Member of several Secondary schools including St. Charles Lwanga School and Muthale Girls in Kitui County. He has also been very instrumental in development projects across the county.
He Is a strong candidate who is likely to send his competitors to the political shebelia.
He is a devoted Christian, happily married with a wife and three children.
