On Tuesday, 24th October, 2023 – The Speaker Hon. Kevin Kinengo Katisya has this morning conveyed a message from H.E the Governor Dr. Julius Malombe notifying the House of the Governor’s memorandum referring back to the Kitui County Supplementary 1 Appropriation Bill, 2023 to the County Assembly for consideration.
The Speaker has further committed the Governor’s Memorandum to the County Budget and Appropriations Committee for consideration and submitted a report to the Assembly, under Standing Order No. 134(4).
Further, the Chairperson for the Committee on Finance and Economic Planning Hon. Munyoki Mwinzi (Kyuso) has also laid a paper on the floor of the House on the report by the Committee on Finance and Economic Planning on the consideration of the Kitui County Finance Bill, 2023, under the provision of Standing Orders No. 179(6), 190(5) and 217(2) and (3).
