Kenya’s Seventh Speaker and first speaker to serve following the reestablishment of bicameral parliament Hon JB Muturi is in Uganda for Commonwealth parliamentary conference, the COUNTY DIARY has learnt.
The speaker on Sunday landed in Uganda, for Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference, slated to take place tomorrow, 23rd of September, 2019, Where Kenya’s High Commissioner to Uganda, H.E Ambassador Kiema is expected to attend and take part.
The conference is set to address issues of strengthening bilateral trades between Kenya and neighboring Countries, increasing business opportunities across the borders, enhancing peaceful coexistence among others.
Muturi’s first step and as usual to most of the visiting leaders in the republic of Uganda, it has been a visit to the Ambassador, H.E Amb. Kiema Kilonzo at his Kenyan Embassy offices in Kampala.
Kiema, popularly christened the name ‘Obama was Ukamba (Kitui)’ has been applauded by all leaders that happen to visit Uganda, for his good, humble heart and courtesy in hosting them in his office, to discuss matters of development on their countries of origin, and more so Kenyan leaders, read (Counties).
