BONNIE MUSAMBI HAILS PRESIDENT RUTO FOR TRANSFORMATIVE PROJECTS IN KITUI CENTRAL -

State House Events Director, Bonnie Musambi, has commended President William Samoei Ruto for the remarkable development projects currently taking shape in Kitui Central Constituency.

Speaking during an inspection tour of the Ithookwe Airstrip, Musambi praised the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure in the region, noting that the airstrip’s modernization marks a major milestone for Kitui County’s growth.

The Ithookwe Airstrip, which played a critical role during the recent Mashujaa Day celebrations at Ithookwe Stadium, is now undergoing extensive upgrades to meet modern aviation standards. The project seeks to transform the facility into a fully equipped terminal capable of handling increased air traffic and promoting local tourism and trade.

Musambi emphasized that the initiative is part of President Ruto’s broader agenda to open up rural economies and spur regional connectivity. “The President’s vision for Kitui is clear — to make it a hub of development and opportunity for all,” he said.
