Machakos Speaker ANNE KIUSYA Flags Off County Assembly Team for CASA Games

Machakos County Assembly Speaker Hon. Anne Kiusya on Tuesday officially flagged off the County Assembly team that will participate in the 6th Edition of the County Assemblies Sports Association (CASA) Games, set to take place later this month in Meru County. The event marks an important moment for the Assembly’s sports fraternity as members gear up to represent the county in various sporting disciplines.

While addressing the team, Speaker Kiusya urged all participants to uphold the highest standards of discipline, teamwork, and excellence throughout the competition. She reminded them that they carry with them not only the Assembly’s banner but also the image of the entire Machakos County, and therefore must conduct themselves as true ambassadors both on and off the field.

The Speaker commended the team for their dedication and preparation ahead of the games, expressing confidence that they would perform exceptionally well and continue Machakos County Assembly’s proud tradition of sporting excellence. She wished them success and encouraged them to give their best in every event.

Members of the County Assembly leadership and the County Assembly Service Board were also present during the flag-off ceremony. They pledged their full support to the team and expressed optimism that Machakos would once again shine during the annual CASA fete.

The CASA Games bring together teams from various county assemblies across Kenya to promote unity, talent development, and healthy competition through sports. Machakos County Assembly’s participation reflects its commitment to nurturing teamwork and fostering camaraderie among its members and staff.
