Mwingi West MP Hon. Charles Nguna today held a consultative meeting with H.E. Dr. William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya, at State House, Nairobi.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed a wide range of development priorities aimed at accelerating growth and improving livelihoods in Mwingi West Constituency.
Top on the agenda were the completion of the Kwasiku–Migwani–Mbondoni Road, the Kiio Sports Academy, the Migwani Market, and the Thitani Technical Training Institute. The discussions also focused on electrification of unserved areas, rehabilitation of colonial dams to enhance water supply, and the expansion of youth and women empowerment programmes.
Hon. Nguna and President Ruto further deliberated on the upcoming Mashujaa Day celebrations, which will be hosted in Kitui County, reaffirming their commitment to ensure successful preparations.
The MP expressed his gratitude to the President for his continued support to the people of Mwingi West, emphasizing their shared resolve to deliver tangible development and uplift the lives of residents.
“We are committed to working closely with the national government to ensure that the people of Mwingi West benefit from meaningful development,” Hon. Nguna said.
The meeting underscores the growing collaboration between the national and constituency leadership in driving Kenya’s development agenda.
