A haul of bhang weighing 2468 kgs was yesterday transported from Salama to Sultan Hamud where it was destroyed.
Kilungu court joined hands with the police, setting the stage for the contraband to be gotten rid of, right in sync with the Kenyan law.
For clarity, the Ksh 76 million bhang was confiscated by eagle-eyed policemen at Malili last year.
However, the exercise has been criticized for being conducted in close proximity to residential spaces. Until now, no official has responded to the claims.
In social media, the comments issued in line with this particular publication give one ample elbow room to mention that the viewpoint about the proximity factor was nothing short of biased and mean.
The move to destroy the haul of bhang demands recognition and unceasing praise. Don’t forget that Kenya is characterized by a section of individuals who condemn the government for not performing, and in the event they perform, the very individuals will attempt to frown on such progress.
