70 Nakuru MCAs Flock Kitui In A Benchmarking Excercise


At least 70 Members of the County Assembly of Nakuru are in Kitui for a benchmarking mission, the COUNTY DIARY has learnt.

The MCAs are keen to learn about the county projects among them the Kitui Textile Centre that has received international recognition lately.

The visiting delegation was received by Kitui County Executive Committee Member for Trade Phillip Mumo on Thursday.

The visiting assembly will meet Governor Charity Ngilu tomorrow in the second day of their tour.

The Nakuru Assembly visit comes a few months after a Nandi County delegation toured the textile factory ahead of the establishment of a similar factory in Nandi.
