Ethanga Clan Holds Summit to Align Leadership Structure with National Laws

The national patron of the Ethanga Clan, Hon. Christopher Nzilu Nzioka, on Friday convened a key clan summit where leaders agreed to modernize the clan’s organizational structure to align with national laws and governance frameworks.
The meeting, held , brought together senior clan officials and leaders from different regions of the country to deliberate on unity, leadership reforms, and compliance with legal requirements governing community and cultural organizations.
The event was led by Kitui Deputy Speaker Hon. Nzilu Nzioka, who is also eyeing the Kitui Central parliamentary seat in the 2027 General Election. He emphasized the need for structured leadership and inclusivity within the clan to ensure its continued relevance and cohesion.
Among those present was Councillor Pius Mwaka, the national chairman of the Ethanga Clan, alongside other top clan officials and representatives.
Speaking exclusively to TCD Digital, Hon. Christopher Nzilu said the leadership is focused on strengthening unity and bringing together all members of the clan across the country under a common vision.
He noted that the reforms discussed during the summit aim to promote transparency, accountability, and effective coordination among clan officials while preserving the community’s cultural heritage.
Clan leaders resolved to continue engaging members nationwide as part of efforts to unify and streamline the clan’s operations in line with national legal and governance standards.
