Yatta Kwa Vonza MCA on Thursday afternoon presided over the Ward-Level Validation of Community Level Infrastructure Development Projects (CLIDP) at Kiusyani. The session brought together local leaders, administrators, and residents to scrutinize and affirm the projects proposed during village-level engagements held on Wednesday.
The validation exercise aimed at confirming community-prioritized projects for the 2024/2025 and 2026/2027 financial years, ensuring that development plans truly reflect the needs and aspirations of the people. Residents were given an opportunity to reaffirm or adjust their submissions, promoting accountability and transparency in the planning process.
Speaking during the event, the MCA emphasized the importance of public participation in shaping equitable development within the ward. He assured residents that their voices would guide resource allocation, adding that the County Government remains committed to inclusive, community-driven development.
