The Kitui County Ministry of Culture, Gender, Youth, ICT, Sports, and Social Services on Friday visited Nyumbani Village Children’s Orphanage, offering care and encouragement to the young residents. The visit aimed at uplifting the children’s spirits while strengthening the county’s commitment to supporting vulnerable groups.
During the visit, the team donated foodstuffs and essential supplies, bringing smiles, joy, and renewed hope to the children. They urged the youngsters to remain focused on their studies, practice kindness, uphold unity, and keep their faith in God as they grow and pursue their dreams.
The delegation was led by the Acting Chief Officer for Culture, Gender, and Social Services, Ms. Esther Mutemi, who reaffirmed the county’s dedication to nurturing and empowering disadvantaged children across Kitui.
