President William Ruto has congratulated seven newly elected leaders following their victories in recent by-elections across the country. Those honoured by the Head of State include David Ndakwa (Malava), Leonard Wamuthende (Mbeere North), Ahmed Hassan (Banisa), Vincent Chemitei (Baringo), Moses Omondi (Ugunja), Harrison Kombe (Magarini), and Boyd Were (Kasipul). The President applauded their success, describing their wins as well-deserved and reflective of the trust voters have placed in them.

In his message, President Ruto emphasised that the victories signify more than individual achievements—they demonstrate the strength and resilience of Kenya’s democratic processes. He noted that the leaders now bear the responsibility of delivering meaningful development and effective representation to their constituents.

The President further stated that the collective triumph of the newly elected leaders serves as a reminder that the nation is “bigger and better” when united. He urged the leaders to work beyond political divides and focus on uniting communities, enhancing service delivery, and fostering national cohesion.

Ruto encouraged the newly elected MPs to maintain close engagement with the people they represent and champion legislation that will uplift their regions. He also reassured them of the national government’s support in enabling them to execute their mandates effectively.

The President concluded by expressing optimism that their leadership will contribute to Kenya’s broader goals of stability, economic growth, and inclusive development, calling on all citizens to support the leaders as they begin their new roles.
