Hon. Edith Nyenze, the Member of the National Assembly for Kitui West, on Friday visited several families in her constituency to offer support and solidarity during moments of grief and celebration. She began her day in Kithumula, where she condoled with the family of the late Benard Mulevu, offering words of comfort and standing with them during their difficult time.
She later proceeded to Mutanda, where she joined the family of the late Betty Kalunda Kivile, continuing her outreach to bereaved families. Nyenze emphasized the importance of community unity and compassion, noting that supporting one another in times of loss strengthens the social fabric of Kitui West.
In the evening, the legislator joined the family of Father Antony Mutio in Mutuni for a double celebration—marking Father Mutio’s 20 years of service in ministry and his mother’s 80th birthday. Nyenze congratulated the family for the milestones, commending Father Mutio’s dedication to spiritual leadership and wishing his mother continued good health.
