Empower Your Wife to Secure Your Children’s Future, Says Kitui Politician Jacob Katiwa

Nairobi businessman and politician Jacob Katiwa has urged men to empower their wives both economically and intellectually, saying it is the surest way to safeguard their children’s future.
Speaking exclusively with TCD digital engagement Katiwa cautioned that many families suffer after the death of a breadwinner because wives are left without the capacity to manage family affairs.
“Bro, if you die without empowering your wife, your kids will end up serving tea to your relatives. Empower her now!” Katiwa emphasized.
He noted that empowering women ensures continuity, stability, and dignity in families even in the absence of their husbands.
Katiwa, who has been vocal on social and economic empowerment, encouraged men to include their wives in family decisions and business operations, saying true leadership begins at home.
He further called on the youth to embrace responsible family values and work towards building resilient households for a better society.
