The County Chief also thanked CMMB for their continued cooperation and for complementing efforts of the County Health Ministry towards provision of quality healthcare services to Kitui South residents.

“We are also grateful that you have tirelessly supported engagement of our Community Health Volunteers (CHVs) who are pivotal in accessibility of medical services at the grass-roots,” he added.

On her part, the Executive Committee Member for Health and Sanitation Dr. Winnie Kitetu requested CMMB to train the 2,470 CHVs across the county who will be engaged from next year.
