Ngilu Roars in Kitui, Exudes confidence Raila will win 2022 presidential election

In a fiery speech to Kitui people drawn from across Kitui held at Kitui Stadium today, Governor Charity Ngilu has declared her unwavering support for Azimio La Umoja and Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga’s candidature.

In what seemed to be a response to Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka who questioned Ngilu’s support for Raila, the Governor said she had the mandate from the Kitui electorate to rally the community towards the next government after President Kenyatta’s exit this year.

“I heard somebody asking who sent me to campaign for Raila’s candidature, please tell him that I speak for majority of the people who believe that the community’s turn to be in government has come.” Said Ngilu.

The governor further said she had listened to what Kenyans want in a president, and she’s sure Raila fits the bill.

“Myself and Kalonzo have been with Raila all these years, and I will stand by him until the end,”. She added.

The Governor noted that this year’s presidential stab was ripe for Raila and she’ll lead the community to the next government.

The Governor expressed doubts on Kalonzo’s candidature saying those telling him to run for president were selfish and want Kalonzo out of the government after the August polls.
