The ever innovative, suave and charismatic Kitui County incoming Senator Hon Allan Sila yesterday scaled new technological heights after launching the First Ever Zoom Video Conferencing for Youths in Kitui County, local media reported.

Allan took advantage of Coronavirus recess to link up with leaders, youths and the electorate via Zoom Video Conferencing, netting over 400 participants, local media reported on Friday.

“We as leaders must keep the youth engaged instead of waiting until the pandemic is over. It’s my new way of connecting
to my electorate and taking advantage of the Covid-19 pandemic recess and movement restrictions.

“Everyone knows the I promised that I will not hide from my voters come rain or sunshine unlike the incumbent! ” said Allan Sila without mentioning names.Yesterday’s Hon Allan Sila video conferencing forum – which attracted over 400 youths from the whole Kitui County was moderated by Kitui South popular politician Hon. Ken Moki alias Muyo.

“Hon. Alla Sila Zoom Video Conferencing is all a about Youth Empowerment, creating a platform and Networking the youths in Kitui County on matters of development.

We are creating a novels ways to mitigate the economic which is hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic” said Meshack Mwendwa alias Meshbae of JOYSILA Foundation speaking to COUNTY DIARY.

“Its exhilarating and awesome to moderate on the Zoom Channel of this great leader”said Moki refering to the philanthropic Joysila Foundation President Hon. Allan Sila whose War on COVID-19 has been hailed far and wide when contacted by COUNTY DIARY today morning.

Hon. Ken Moki, who has been winning the hearts and minds of the Kitui South electorate is currently the favourite amongst the voters, according to political scene watchers.
