A super corporate honcho and Our Son from Kitui West commenced a sustainable distribution of face masks, sanitizers booths and a plethora of foodstuffs today, COUNTY DIARY has learnt.
According to sources privy to his itinerary, Nicholas Mulila, the highly successful Safaricom Chief Corporate Security Officer kicked off the disbursement in Matinyani DCC offices and later Kitui west DCC offices at Ndolos.
“A group of professionals from Kitui county is joining hands to donate foodstuff and other materials across the whole county. Kitui west is just the first station.
All donations were channelled through national government structures for easy and effective distribution,” said Mulla
The donation is part of the strategy to assist the vulnerable within the society and curb the spread of coronavirus.
Mr Mulila, a son of the soil from Kitui West is currently working with the biggest telecom company in Kenya, Safaricom
He is the top guy responsible for Risk Management functions in the company that including, Enterprise Risk Management, Ethics and Compliance, Revenue Assurance, Cyber Security, and Anti-Money Laundering, a statement from the company website attests.
Speaking to County Diary, one of the key professionals and businessman from Kitui West, Eng Vincent Mutua said, “They will continue helping the vulnerable across kitui as the country continue to battle the pandemic”
The Distribution of foods and free facemasks in Matinyani Subcounty was led by Netasam directors led by kavili Mbunza,others present were Simon Mutunga Nding’o knut executive secretary kitui county,Belita Lovi, Matinyani DCC Mr okwachi among other senior officials.
