Bishop Lai Statement On Covid 19, Must read

The Bishop of Jesus Celebration Center in Mombasa Dr. Lai has added his voice in regard to Covid 19 Pandemic, the COUNTY DIARY reports.

The Bishop said, “Our nation and the world is under an attack by COV1D-19 which is a pestilence.

What should a God-fearing nation do? l Chronicles 7:13 & 14 says, “When 1 shut up heaven
and there is no rain or command locusts to devour the land or send PESTILENCE

“If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray
and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and
will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

The church must be vigilant in hard times like these. People run to hide in the house of in times of trouble. A fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. (Games 5:16).

Our prayers will save Kenya. We appreciate the government’s effort to contain this
pandemic and we pray that God will continue to give our leaders wisdom as we stand-in
prayer to intercede.

We will not fail our nation and fail to carry out our divine duty to gather to pray in the
time of need. 1 ask our members to be bold in the faith that we teach and not fear.
Stand on Psalms 91: 3, 5,67,9, 10, 14,15 & 16.

Take all the necessary hygiene measures as we continue to gather to pray for our families, our city, our county, and our beloved nation.

I appeal to the government to allow the church to remain open because it gives hope in
times like these. COVID-19 will not survive the prayers of the church, it will die in a matter
of a short time. God will heal our land.

God bless Mombasa and God bless Kenya, Shalom, Shalom Shalom, Bishop Winfred Lai.
