NGCDF board has distanced itself from the so called Mizani Africa findings
The National Constituency Development Fund headquarters today distanced itself from a recent survey released by a nondescript company known as Mizani Africa research company.
The Chief Officer said, “Some Fund Managers have contacted us inquiring on how to handle information they had received inviting them to an award ceremony planned by an organization going by the name ” Mizani Africa”.
a.) The Board is neither privy to the stated assessment nor the authenticity of the parameters used/criteria for evaluation;
b.) The Board is not aware of the registration Status of entity said to have invited constituencies to the award ceremony;
c.) In line with it’s mandate, the Board sets annual performance targets which are officially negotiated and signed with NG-CDF Committees, on the basis of which annual evaluations are done and outcome formally released to each Constituency. We intend to undertake Performance evaluation for Constituencies before the end of the financial year.
d.) Any other assessment done outside the Board’s framework is not our responsibility.
