TO COMPLAIN OR NOT?

When others misbehave with us and elicit in us bad feelings, it is important to point it out to them. Being honest with our feelings is the first step towards establishing healthy boundaries in our relationships. We are not only helping ourselves in the maturation process as we do so, we are also helping the other person too.

Why are healthy boundaries important? They are important for the maturation of the ego. The ego cant mature if we keep denying ourselves, and our feelings are the closest indicators of whom we take ourselves to be.

Once the ego matures, once we regain our individuality, we are now ready for the ego to drop. We dont drop the ego, it drops automatically on its own when it gets mature, just as the ripe fruit falls effortlessly and without return.

A really mature person is the egoless person and therefore he doesnt need to erect boundaries or barriers between himself and the world. Until you get there, you must first mature your ego and become an individual. Only then will the ego and all the boundaries it erects between people fall off forever.
