Kitui Gallant Fallen Soldier Given recognizable send-off

The late hero and GSU officer who was attached to Ant-Stock Theft Unit (ASTU) was given decent send off in his home in Voo/Kyamatu Ward, Kyamatu Sub-Location.

The late Francis Mbuvi Mutia met his untimely demise while he was returning to his place of work, Mandera, where the passenger vehicle they travelled with was abducted at El Wak by terrorists who exercised their brutality to him with other 10 Kenyan citizens.

Among the 11 people who met their unanticipated demises, 6 were Kenyan soldiers! May their soul rest in eternal peace.

Being a Kenyan police, like their norms, the burial was presided over by his colleagues who had escorted his body from Gilgil. Mouners from Kitui County and particularly Voo Kyamatu Ward were led by their able Member of County Assembly, Hon. Kivali Musyoka who has been pivotal point since the inception of this unexpected incident.

For the purpose of efficient and effective transport in this rainy season, Mr Musyoka through his efforts had provided machines to revitalize road from Kyamatu Market to the home of the late and some parts from Kibaoni to Kyamatu market where passability had been completely thwarted.

Speaking at the function several people thanked the area MCA for standing with the families that befall unfortunes throughout the bitter moments just like this one.

In the same day, Mr Musyoka pointed out that he had linked with the Governor of Kitui county, Charity Kaluki Ngilu to see whether the window of Francis, Stacy Katunge Mbuvi can be employed with immediate effect to take care the family since her late husband was the sole breadwinner because after the completion of her P1 Teacher Certificate, she never met her lucky box of being employed.

The same burial celebrations were attended by the National Assembly representative of Kitui East Constituency, Hon. Nimrod Mbai.

The tough legislator cursed the act of Alshabaab who has been Killing and dehuminizing People of Kenya since time Immemorial. Mr Mbai vowed to eradicate all Alshabaab related beings in Kitui East to restore peace and order once and for all.

On the same point, the vocal and vibrant Mp said that the alshabab have killed another person in areas of Endau.

Speaking at the burial the Mp warned all Kamba fraternity who are befriending Some herders for goodies like meat,milk amongst other things in exchange of spy.

He said such people will be treated as enemies of the community and put in the same oven just like the rogue camel herders who threaten the survival Kamba fraternity.

Other notable leaders in the function were Kitui East Sub – CountAdministratoror, Daniel Munyoto who read the Governor’s condolences letter to thmournersrs, youths leaders Adams Mutavania and Kitonga Kilungya among other youths.
