How MP Nguna, ASDF Partnership Is alleviating water scarcity in Mwingi West



More than 500 residents living within Kyome Thaana village in Mwingi West are set to benefit from the recently rehabilitated Kyome Rock Catchment – as area the MP Charles Nguna (CNN) escalates water provision for his residents.

Meanwhile the Mwingi West Member of Parliament Hon Charles Nguna is taking water catchment and social amenities development seriously.

“The MP investments and partnership geared towards providing water for his constituents is part of his manifesto” his P.A Evans Kyalo has told COUNTY DIARY.

The National Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) workin in tandem with Non Government Organizations (NGOs) and National Irrigation Board (NIB) has constructed several dams and earth dams in Mwingi West, according to the area Member of Parliament who spoke to our News Team.

The Kyome Rock Catchment is an initiative of ASD (African Sand Dam Foundation).

The benevolent MP has been motivating local groups to continue offering labour as the ASDF provides materials for such water projects in Mwingi West.
