The Trinity chapel church in kitui has organized free medical camp at Neema Hospital Annex building in kitui town, the Medical camp is sponsored by operation blessing from USA and the county government of kitui, the COUNTY DIARY has learnt.
The event was officially opened by Dr Beatrice Muiya representing kitui Chief officer Dr Muthoka, in the company of chief officer in charge of Basic education Madam Agnetta Peter and county Nurse boss Madam Monica Mutisya on Friday.
Speaking at the facility the Chief officer Madam Peter said the county government of Kitui led by Bi Charity Ngilu is committed to health development which is a key pillar , The government of kitui will continue to partner with development partners, she added.
Patients who will need extra care will be referred to kitui referral hospital, the operation blessing has over sixty medics who workes at Nairobi Hospital, Dr Mbai of the operation blessing revealed.
Dr Kimaru the operation blessing country director said it’s their pleasure to partner with county government of kitui and private hospitals for the sake advancing service to the humanity.
Neema Hospital director Mr Stephen kinako said the hospital is spacious and has the best facility to handle any challenge going forward and are working in consultation with the county leadership.
Making a final remarks Dr Beatrice said the Ministry of Health and sanitation is not in conflict with private hospitals, a healthy county is what the governor is looking for.
Madam Peter encouraged those seeking medical services to trust in God who is true physician and reiterated the Government commitment to see a health kitui which is a pillar of kitui Governor.

- Optical services and free glasses.

- Pharmacy( free dispensing of drugs
- Minor surgeries ( kheloids, cataract, cleft, and lip, tonsils, and tumors. In addition Prostate Cancer screening.
The Medical camp kicked off on Friday at Neema Hospital 18th and Saturday 19th from 8 am-5 pm over Sixty medics are present to attend to the patients.
