Mutha Will Get 2 More Police Stations Says Kaki


In a Move to solve the perennial insecurity issues in Mutha, Kitui south member of Parliament Dr Racheal kaki Nyamai has revealed a plan to establish two more police stations in Mutha to harness the insecurity.

Kitui south member of parliament was addressing residents at Mutha town on Monday, she was accompanied by Mutomo DCC Mr Ronald Enyakasi and and the entire security team to console the displaced people following attacks from camel wranglers where one life was lost and two people are at Mutomo mission hospital nursing gun injuries.

Mutomo DCC Mr Ronald Enyakasi has assured residents that the state will protect them against further attacks and ordered his security team to flush out camel ranchers from Kitui south game reserve.

The idle Kitui south game reserve has been safe handout for all kind of criminal activities and the government will flush out those dwelling in the government land , DCC has said

The establishment of two police posts in Musenge and Kalambani at the cost of One Million each, courtesy of Kitui south constituency development fund (NG-CDF) kitty will be of great help to the people of the incendiary Mutha ward, Kitui south Mp said.

The people of Mutha has for many years lived without peace for a couple of years following the attacks from Al-Shabab who pose as camel herders.
