Mp Kaki Hails Youth KYEOP Trainings,Urges POLICE to Flush out Camels from Mutha


Kitui South Mp Hon Dr Rachael Kaki on Monday toured Mutha area to condole with the affected families following bandit attacks that left one dead and several nursing injuries.

The Mp in the morning hours met youths are being trained (KYEOP) where she complimented Kitui south youths for registering in large numbers to benefit from this National project

The Member of Parliament then proceeded to Mutha town where residents from Musenge,Kalamba and Kaliakatune amongst other places had camped in a catholic church in fear of the terrorist attacks.

The terrorists who pose as camel headers in the area have made the said place insecure where residents have fled home for fear of attacks, the mp was accompanied by Mutomo DCC Mr Ronald whereby both addressed insecurity issues in Mutha

The team also proceeded to Musenge and Kalambani and assured the residents to maintain peace as she talks to the top security agencies ie CS Matiang’ i tomorrow in the morning to find a permanent solution.

Dr. Nyamai rejected the idea of coexistence between the armed camel herders and the people of mutha saying these guys have proved to be unfriendly
