Leaders in Kitui; Governor Charity Ngilu, Senator, MPs, Women Rep. and MCAs have been urged to woe the people to turn in large numbers for the country wide census that will be conducted between 24th and 25th, August, 2019.
KNBS Director Dr. Caxton Munyoki spoke during a presser held at the office of the County Commissioner in Kitui Town.
Dr. Munyoki said that it was only through large turn out during the two day exercise that will enable the county to get huge allocations of funds for development from the national government among others.
The Director also added that measures have been put in place to make sure all people are counted wherever they will be to ensure no one is left out.
“Adequate plans are in place to count even those who will be travelling” said Dr. Munyoki
